Cloud sync is a Pro-only feature. When you turn it on, your library is mirrored to your own Google Drive or iCloud — not to our infrastructure. New scans upload automatically. Downloads only run when you explicitly restore, so a sync never overwrites a local edit by accident. Cancel anytime; your data stays where you put it.
When to use it
- Switch phones and pick up exactly where you left off
- Keep a backup in case the device is lost or damaged
- Share your library with a partner or family member using shared Drive
- Restore on a new device after wiping the old one
