1. About this app

Paper Scanner is a document scanning app for iOS. It captures pages, applies image filters, runs on-device text recognition (OCR), and exports multi-page PDFs. A free tier and an optional paid Pro subscription are described on the App Store listing. These Terms govern your use of the App.

2. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using the App you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, delete the App from your device.

3. License

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on iOS devices you own or control. You may not resell, reverse-engineer (where prohibited by law), or use the App to build a competing product.

4. Subscriptions

Pro is sold through Apple's App Store. It auto-renews unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period in iOS Settings → Subscriptions. Refunds follow Apple's standard policy; we can't issue them directly. Trial eligibility is decided by Apple.

5. Your content

You own every document, image, and text you scan or import. We don't access, view, upload, or store your content. Any cloud sync you enable (iCloud Drive or Google Drive) runs directly between your device and your account on that service — we don't operate a relay and don't hold copies.

6. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes what data the App collects and how it's handled.

7. No warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty — express or implied — of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of OCR output, or that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages (lost data, lost profits, business interruption) arising from your use of the App. Where local law doesn't allow a full exclusion, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App. Continued use means you accept the new version.
